You can hear the double-takes from here. The 49ers took Elijah Roberts at slot 147, roughly 36 spots before his name belonged. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Walker steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
