There is a lot to like until you notice tight end is still a hole. The Bengals never got to the one that mattered most. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

That Jacobs pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The cost of the Suamataia reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
