The Browns let Melton fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The board owed the Browns one, and it paid up: Max Melton, the No. 78 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 4 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Reaching for Cephus left real value on the table behind him. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
