The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bengals reached some 78 spots for Hayden Hatten, and value like that does not grow back. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Morgan.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
