Quarterback settled, Simpson in the fold, and a B- for the Saints.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Ty Simpson is the Saints' quarterback, full stop. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Sapp to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Bray Hubbard in pick 138 is fair value, right on his grade. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
