Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The Nubin pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
