The war room fell hard for Solomon Byrd, and it showed at the Round 7 slot: 36 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

The Jones pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Brandon Graham deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
