A sensible, unshowy class lands the Jets a B-.

Nobody had Jackson Hawes this high, and it is not close. The Jets reached 68 spots to get him at Round 6, Pick 10. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They banked enough surplus on Warren to cover a lot of smaller sins. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
