The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Lathan Ransom fell into slot 149. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
