You could see the war room lean forward. Malik Mustapha at the 203rd overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The cost of the Wright reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
