There is reaching, and then there is Barryn Sorrell at Round 7, Pick 17. The Bears jumped the board by 82 and dared it to prove them wrong. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Williams steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
