They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Wilson left real value on the table behind him.

Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
