Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

The McMillan pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The Henderson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
