The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a A-. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Bo Nix is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Hartman has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
Landing Simpson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
In the end it comes back to Bo Nix, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
