The steal of the weekend belongs to the 49ers and Lassiter: B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the 49ers were there to profit. Kamari Lassiter, the No. 41 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 2, Pick 31.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Spending an early pick on cornerback with running back, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
