More right than wrong for the 49ers, and a B to prove it.

The 49ers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Caleb Murphy at the 252nd overall pick regardless, 42 picks early. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That Allen pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
