Larceny in the 176th overall pick lands the 49ers a D-, Jones and all.

The 49ers lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Reiman lower, and that gap is the story.

Jones at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
