Flashes of a plan, unevenly run, for the 49ers: C+.

The 49ers spent real capital to be 90 picks early on Bryce Boettcher, and the board is going to hold them to it. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C+.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with running back, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
