A sensible, unshowy class lands the 49ers a B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The 49ers reached some 34 spots for Sam Hartman, and value like that does not grow back.

They banked enough surplus on Ford to cover a lot of smaller sins. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
