The 49ers let Henderson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: TreVeyon Henderson, the No. 55 name on the board, stolen at the 139th pick.

They are betting Griffith proves the room right and everyone else wrong. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In the 11th pick they get a premier pass rusher, even if it was a touch early. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick43 Rnd2 Jalon Walker
You do not let a linebacker like Jalon Walker reach pick 43 and blink. They did not. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick75 Rnd3 Jared Wilson
A real head-scratcher, Jared Wilson in pick No. 75 is miles ahead of his ranking. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick99 Rnd3 Joshua Farmer
They reached a country mile for Joshua Farmer at No. 99, and the board is aghast. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick112 Rnd4 Will Howard
A big swing on Will Howard at the Round 4 slot, well ahead of any board in the building. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick138 Rnd4 Jake Majors
Taking Jake Majors in Round 4, Pick 37 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
