Draft Grade — Titans
Overall C+

A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Titans get a C+.

The Titans bet big and early on Fadil Diggs, 110 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

However the rest shakes out, Belton at that price is a win they earned. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Travis Hunter
Travis Hunter at the 1st pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick35 Rnd2 Jared Ivey
They talked themselves into Jared Ivey at slot 35, and the board did not agree. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick103 Rnd4 Andrew Mukuba
Andrew Mukuba slipping to pick 103 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick120 Rnd4 Fadil Diggs
Fadil Diggs in the 120th overall pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick141 Rnd5 Anthony Belton
You do not let an offensive lineman like Anthony Belton reach the Round 5 slot and blink. They did not. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick167 Rnd5 Dont'e Thornton Jr.
They paid sticker price for Dont'e Thornton Jr. in No. 167, and that is fine. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick178 Rnd6 Davin Vann
Davin Vann at the Round 6 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick188 Rnd6 Dayon Hayes
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Dayon Hayes. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
