A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bears a B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Bears took Jahvaree Ritzie a full 111 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. However the rest shakes out, Hampton at that price is a win they earned. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
