The Saints answered their biggest question with Sanders. Grade: B-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Saints spent the 184th overall pick on Dayon Hayes, a name most had 112 spots down the list. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Ransom.

For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
