This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cody Simon, the No. 127 name on the board, stolen at slot 230.

The cost of the Davis reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
