When a board-topper like Jason Marshall Jr. slides to pick 231, you do not overthink it, and the Dolphins did not. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Castro pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, offensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

Reaching for Sawyer left real value on the table behind him.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
