More right than wrong for the Commanders, and a B- to prove it.

The Commanders went off the board in a big way for Kaimon Rucker, 84 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

However the rest shakes out, Castro at that price is a win they earned. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Kaimon Rucker. It fills a real need, too.
Pick128 Rnd4 Sebastian Castro
The board fumbled Sebastian Castro all the way to Round 4, Pick 26, and they scooped it up. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

Jack Kiser slipping to the Round 6 slot is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick248 Rnd7 Cam Jackson
Cam Jackson in the 248th pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
