NICKS EARLY 1ST ROUND PREDICTIONS

  • NICK414141 DRAFTING FOR THE
    Raiders
Draft Selections
Deontae Lawson Head Shot
PICK: 7 RND: 1 (LV)
Deontae Lawson
LB Alabama
Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall C+
ValueC NeedC+ TradesB- FutureB-
A mixed bag for the Raiders, and a C+ to match.

The Raiders' one glaring miss is edge rusher, a need they left exactly as they found it.

They will need Lawson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Hit on Deontae Lawson and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

Pick Analysis
Pick7 Rnd1 Deontae Lawson
A conviction pick on Deontae Lawson at pick 7 that the board grades a round light. A minor need, but a need all the same.
