Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B

A solid, sensible weekend for the Ravens: B.

The Zion Logue selection is the head-turner. The Ravens reached 42 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Getting Coleman where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Troy Fautanu
In the 30th pick they get a long-term starter on the line. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62 Rnd2 Keon Coleman
Circle this one: Keon Coleman at the Round 2 slot is a fall that decides a draft. The roster fit checks out.
Pick93 Rnd3 DJ James
DJ James at Round 3, Pick 30 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the cornerback. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick131 Rnd4 Mohamed Kamara
They took Mohamed Kamara at par in pick No. 131, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick134 Rnd4 Javion Cohen
Javion Cohen at No. 134 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick164 Rnd5 Jaylan Ford
A real head-scratcher, Jaylan Ford in pick 164 is miles ahead of his ranking. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick226 Rnd7 Emani Bailey
They let Emani Bailey come to them and pounced at pick 226. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick248 Rnd7 Zion Logue
Zion Logue in No. 248 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
