There is reaching, and then there is Patrick Payton at the 174th overall pick. The Ravens jumped the board by 59 and dared it to prove them wrong. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Landing Daniels that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
