Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall

The Jaguars did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Jaguars walked out of the weekend still thin at offensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
McCray has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
Pick Analysis
Pick56
Rnd2
LaNorris Sellers
LaNorris Sellers at the 56th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick81
Rnd3
Rasheem Biles
Rasheem Biles in pick No. 81 is fair value, right on his grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick88
Rnd3
LJ McCray
They paid a round early for LJ McCray in slot 88, more than the board wanted. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick100
Rnd3
Zavier Mincey
By-the-book stuff, Zavier Mincey at No. 100 squarely in line with his ranking. The roster fit checks out.
Pick124
Rnd4
Xavier Scott
A straight-up fair deal on Xavier Scott at the 124th pick, value and slot in agreement. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick162
Rnd5
Walker Lyons
They paid sticker price for Walker Lyons in Round 5, Pick 24, and that is fine. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick164
Rnd5
David Oke
No edge and no loss on David Oke in pick 164; it is a wash and a sensible one. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick233
Rnd7
Semaj Morgan
Nothing to complain about; Semaj Morgan went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick245
Rnd7
Dylan Edwards
A tidy little value on Dylan Edwards in No. 245, a step better than break-even. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
