The Cowboys did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cowboys did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to tight end, which was the need that mattered most.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
