No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Panthers.

Nobody else had Ahmed Hassanein anywhere near pick 164. The Panthers did, by 60 spots, and that gap is the whole story. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

McCord falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
