Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesD- FutureA
Best value of the weekend goes to the Browns for Moss: B-.

The Browns lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Moss at that price is a win they earned.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick6 Rnd1 Jeremiyah Love
A clean, defensible pick in No. 6 with a little surplus value in Jeremiyah Love. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick24 Rnd1 Kenyon Sadiq
In the 24th overall pick they get a matchup weapon at tight end. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick70 Rnd3 Deontae Lawson
Deontae Lawson in pick 70 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick107 Rnd4 Emmett Johnson
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Emmett Johnson in slot 107. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick139 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
Davison Igbinosun at the 139th pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick144 Rnd5 Domani Jackson
A reasonable price with a little left over, Domani Jackson in the Round 5 slot. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick147 Rnd5 Kevin Coleman Jr.
They did well to land Kevin Coleman Jr. in slot 147, just ahead of his grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick204 Rnd6 Miller Moss
Circle this one: Miller Moss at pick 204 is a fall that decides a draft. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick239 Rnd7 Jacobe Johnson
Jacobe Johnson slid further than he should have, and the 239th overall pick is lovely value for the cornerback. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick241 Rnd7 Haynes King
Nothing to complain about; Haynes King went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick248 Rnd7 Rueben Owens II
Good price on Rueben Owens II in the 248th pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
