A sensible, unshowy class lands the Texans a B-.

The Billy Schrauth pick is the one that will follow the Texans into the fall. They took him 42 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Fuller to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
