Some picks age like wine; Carson Beck at No. 53 will need to, sitting 60 spots clear of his grade.

The McNeil-Warren steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Steelers indulged a want in Hecht while a need in edge rusher stayed open. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
