For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Commanders walked out of the weekend still thin at wide receiver, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The back end got a real overhaul.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
