Start where it matters. The Patriots took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It nets out a thoroughly average C-.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Every board in the league had Allen lower, and that gap is the story. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

However the rest shakes out, Adams at that price is a win they earned.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
