The Bears let Allen fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Kaytron Allen, the No. 97 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 129th overall pick. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The Parker II reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
