The Cowboys let Hudson fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cowboys shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They banked enough surplus on Hudson to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Pegues has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
