Somebody in pick 88 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Commanders sat still while Sam Leavitt, the No. 39 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
