The Broncos bet big and early on Jaden Crumedy, 23 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Jones at that price is a win they earned.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
