Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B-
ValueB+
NeedB-
TradesB-
FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Seahawks a B-. The one they had to fix is still broken. The Seahawks left edge rusher untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.
Getting Lew where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Colton Hood
In the Round 1 slot they get a sticky cover corner, and a steal at that.
Pick64
Rnd2
Jadarian Price
A clean, defensible pick in No. 64 with a little surplus value in Jadarian Price. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick96
Rnd3
Connor Lew
Connor Lew slipping to the 96th overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
