The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on Knight: B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Tyrice Knight, the No. 216 name on the board, stolen at No. 249. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. The Phillips pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end and edge rusher. If Gore Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
