The phones sank the Broncos this weekend: D-.

The Broncos clearly saw something nobody else did in Isaac Rex, taking him 59 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Broncos indulged a want in Melton while a need in linebacker, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
