Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Jets came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

However the rest shakes out, Williams at that price is a win they earned. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
