The Saints clearly saw something nobody else did in Caleb Ransaw, taking him 94 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

Jaxson Dart is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They banked enough surplus on Paul Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
