The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The cost of the Robinson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
