The Patriots land in the muddy middle: C+.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Patriots spent No. 209 on Bryce Foster, a name most had 30 spots down the list. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

So much rides on Denzel Boston that the real verdict is a season or two away.
