They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Ty Simpson is the Browns' quarterback, full stop.

Landing Hall that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
