Boards are made to be trusted, and the Bills shredded theirs for Jalen Thompson. He came off 58 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
